These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the SendQuote mobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”), provided by TINSE Inc. (“TINSE”, “we”, “us”), a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License agreement
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If these Terms conflict with the store terms, the store terms apply to the extent of the conflict.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the App. You can sign up with Google, Facebook or your email address. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you must give accurate information.
3. Your content
You own the quotes, invoices, receipts, customer records, logos and other content you create in the App. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only so we can provide the App to you. You are responsible for your content, including the accuracy of prices, taxes and payment details on your documents, and for having the right to use any customer information you enter.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Create fraudulent, misleading or illegal documents
- Send spam or messages your recipients have not agreed to receive
- Upload content that infringes someone else’s rights
- Try to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer the App except as allowed by law
5. SendQuote Premium subscriptions
The App is free to download and use, with ads. SendQuote Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, available as a monthly or annual plan, that removes ads, hides app branding on your documents and unlocks invoice templates for recurring work.
- The price and length of each plan are shown in the App before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android) when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings or in Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Deleting the App or your account does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
6. Ads
The free version of the App shows ads provided by Google AdMob. How ads use your data is explained in our SendQuote Privacy Policy.
7. Privacy
Our SendQuote Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. You can delete your account at any time from the App’s account settings.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the App available and reliable, but we do not promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. We may update, change or stop features of the App. Please keep your own copies of important documents.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users or the service at risk.
10. Disclaimers
The App is a tool to help you prepare and send business documents. It does not give tax, accounting or legal advice. To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TINSE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for SendQuote Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and let you know in the App if the changes are significant. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
